So....I mailed a package to Washington State a day before Christmas. It hasnt arrived so I contacted the post office. My mistake for just mailing it and not paying even more to track it. The post office told me it takes 5 weeks to get a package from Anchorage to Washington on a boat. I know for a fact it takes three days. This is how I broke the news to my girlfriend Cindy. I just checked on your package...post office was worthless. ..my little postal place also tried...He said it should arrive any day. According to the US Postal service....because I only paid with a second mortgage and maxed out my credit to mail it rather than taking out a loan...it went by donkey to the Canadian border. After arriving it was then drug through the wilds of Alaska on a goat and transferred to a large sea going vessel. These vessels must then travel to China...Kentucky and are rerouted to India where they are then scanned, sorted, stepped on and then hand delivered to Sherpas. The Sherpas then walk them the 2,000 miles to a postal truck in the USA. It is then transferred to the correct postal area where it is again sorted by US Government employees who will determine what century it should be delivered. Please let me know if it ever actually arrives. ...Im fascinated. Next year I will just deliver your gift in person on my way back from Tibet.
