So I make my page public so that people can share the educational posts that I make in an effort to encourage knowledge and cultural awareness. Because I dont have control over who shares my posts, sometimes people who I would not see eye to eye with on politics and current events use my words because they are infatuated with Indian culture, and twist them to fit their own agenda. For example, my post regarding Abraham Lincoln and the hanging of 38 Dakota Indians...I saw in my notifications that several people had shared it. Some of those who shared it made comments like See and the Indians didnt riot and loot, etc... and things implying that they may be racist and conservative. Those people are not welcome on my page, and I do not endorse their mentality or bigotry. Along with sharing my posts many people send me friend requests. So here is a disclaimer to any new friends or followers or anyone considering sharing my posts...I am a die hard blue-blooded liberal. Along with rights for my own culture, I support immigrants rights, minority rights, gay rights, a womans right to choose, equal pay, separation of church and state, efforts to combat climate change, universal healthcare, good relations with Cuba and the Castros. I am against all wars, torture, discrimination, bigotry, capitalism, the 1%. I am friends with Christians, but I am 100% against christianity and organized religion and the indoctrination of people of color and it is my mission to raise myself and my brothers and sisters of melanin to a higher level of conscious. I am also a democratic socialist/communist... SO....with that being said we can be friends, but if you intend to warp my words for your own vision of bigotry, please reconsider. Have a good day! :-)
