So, I need a little help. My graphics card I think has taken a crap on me. So last night, right before I was about to shut my PC down, it froze, both mouse and keyboard were unresponsive. It then proceeded to hard shut down. When I went to boot back up, no display from the GPUs output but when I plugged the monitor into the integrated graphics output, it worked fine. I did receive and this error dialog box: Problem signature Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Extra information about the problem BCCode: 124 BCP1: 0000000000000000 BCP2: FFFFFA800472E028 BCP3: 00000000BE000000 BCP4: 0000000000800400 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1 Card wont show up on HWMonitor or MSI afterburner or Device manager like it used and even Catalyst wont pick it up despite the card being plugged in and the fan spinning. Ive tried resetting the CMOS on my motherboard, a System Restore, uninstalling catalyst all together, re-seating the graphics card into the PCI-e slot. Clearing the CMOS once again. Nothing. I think its dead but I want a few opinions. Before you ask, no, there is no option to turn off the integrated graphics or switch it over to PCI-e as Im using an i3-3220. Graphics card is an old HIS HD 4850 reference card. Motherboard is an Asus P8H61-M LE/USB3. PSU is a Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze rated. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
