So I ordered another Kimi kit today to make a gothic/victorian/horror fantasy doll. There is no doubt im going to root human hair and do pigtails. I got the blue/gray eyes bc they have a really cute purple hue to them. Im struggling with the clothes. Ive never made this kind of doll before. Do I go, skull tutu with a white onesie and embellish the onesie or do I go buy one of those over priced victorian dresses? I wish I could find a plain dress that I could add my own twist to. Embellish it with ribbons, lace and pearls........... Then there is the skin tone. I definitely dont want her to be ghostly white. Maybe a grayish color? I want her lips to be outlined in black and then I want burgundy red in the middle. I want her to have long finger nails too. Ive never added nails to a doll before (this ought to be interesting) Soooooo many ideas........maybe too many? Anyone have an opinion?
