So I ran into this clip from Dr. Who where he takes Vincent Van Gogh to the present/future to see how his legacy turned out. A beautiful scene that reminds me that I should keep pursuing the arts. That what we create and who we are has a profound effect on the world, its people, and the art communities that are built upon the efforts of courageous and amazing artists. In our future WE are the amazing artists for future generations. What we do in this life is only a glimpse of our collective identity that stretches far beyond our own lives. Basically, Im just saying dont lose hope, people will remember/recognize you, and yes your work is great... even if you dont see if now, someone else will.
