So I realized I wasnt sharing the actual post... Lol so here you guys go. Hourglass is a track about moving forward with life. Life is full of struggle. Relationships wont always work out. You might lose touch with friends and family. The things you love might not always be around. But we are responsible for our lives. The image pushed in this video is burying your past and changing your future. There comes a time in our life where nothing is going right. Ive been there. I learned I couldnt keep blaming people and things around me but I had to take responsibility for my own life and make a change. Push yourself and be who you want to be. Lyrics: This isnt moving on, this is going forward and this has all made me the man I truly am. Weakness wears me down til I have nothing left. Fixing what Ive done. Ive blamed others for my lack of sleep But this is me growing up And understanding why the less I have left in this hourglass of life. The less I have left. The faster it passes me by. Not everything goes wrong I need to focus on myself and whats in front of me. You cant control Every aspect of life But you can prepare for whats to come Im breathing slowly and think about What is right for me. Its just me holding back and not pushing my life. I just look around and blame when I dont even try. Im just looking for a reason and standing on this hill Full of my mistakes, my power and my will Searching for the answers that I know Ill never find, what I want to find. But this is what I need, I need to face my fears. Ive learned the ones who are closest to me. Have only seen the man I used to be But Im still fighting all my fears and it feels like Im alone. Because depression knows my weakness, he knows my brittle bones. Im not giving up on life, Im just trying to find the line between whats worth dying for and whats not worth my time.
