So I realized something today as I set up my keyboard to play & sing praises to the Lord. I’d purposed to do so and it indeed gave rise to meet with other believers who were there handing out tracks and praying with people. As people passed there, right at the corner of Snyder Ave and Broad Street, I found myself celebrating a singing about the very FREEDOM that was mine to do so; to praise Him and worship Him and prophecy over this city named before she was born. He really did want this Holy Experiment to be a place where His Gospel was propagated as stated by my brother Wm Penn. Because of their selfless sacrifices War Veteran have made, perhaps even unbeknownst to themselves, they did so to protect our freedom to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to do so openly and unashamedly right there at high noon in public. This particular form of religious freedom that denies not power thereof is was exercised today by this private citizen within the earshot of many even as I did so for an audience of ONE. Many, so many died so that I can even live and breathe and have my being In Him that as I breathe in and out, I could freely allow the precious Name Of Jesus to be carried by the sound of own un amplified voice. It was pretty cool to have a battery powered keyboard with on board speakers as by doing so I did not violate any statutes concerning ‘excessive sound in public’- and especially when it felt like no one was listening my Abba was and I know that He was pleased. And so on this Veterans Day 2013, a sound of liberty and freedom rang out about THE PRECIOUS Freedom to make known the matchless Name of Jesus Christ. My songs called upon passerby people into a place of remembrance that they too were made in His image. They were called into a place of perhaps even hearing for the first time that He was calling them back to Him by the preaching of the Cross that I’ve been provided the skill to articulate through music. Eph 5:18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; (19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
