So I recently just joined the The Circus Collective of San Diego (a few months ago) and we are developing a show, Cirquetacular! Cirquetacular! loosely based on Moulin Rouge and we have been trying to find a theater to showcase this in. We were in negotiations with the La Paloma in Encinitas but things didnt work out. Because of this we are looking for a new venue, one that will support aerial rigging. We were hoping to do this show on Valentines Day but given the time crunch we will have to be flexible. After this show, we are also looking for a venue later on in the year to do an ever bigger scale production of this show. The past shows for the Circus Collective have always been quit amazing and sold really well if not sold out. We have a great group of performers who deserve to showcase their talent and this one should be quite Spectacular. We are a collective so we dont have a huge budget -- the awesome thing about the La Paloma was they were willing to do profit share. Does anyone have any connections or ideas on theaters we could try for February show and the show later on in the year?
