So I recently read a status by Shaniah Morris and she brought up a valuable point that I thought I would bring up on my own thoughts. People think that you should become something or do something with your life. You should travel before you get stuck with bills or a home! You should go to school and do something with your life. You want to get married? Youre way too young to be thinking about that and children at this age! Things like that really do bother me, while I can slightly see the point to a couple, you want to travel when you are young and still have the funds to do so, you want to have schooling for a career because over fifty percent of marriages end in divorce. However, to now list my own thoughts. I want to travel, however you can still have bills like student loans, or mortgage payments, and still go places as long as you are smart with your money. You can plan, you dont need to have the attitude of I want this so I need this RIGHT NOW. Life really doesnt work that way. As for schooling, personally, I have no higher attraction for a woman that wants to be a stay at home mom and is willing to work with less money but able to make things work off one income, and yes, I DO believe it is possible, difficult but possible. As for my last point, I think I have scared off previous relationships because I can honestly say that I have always had marriage somewhere in my mind, Ive always thought about the one and having a family, having children. Now, life has thrown more than one wrench my way, some have caused lasting impacts but I still can hold onto that hope and Im what, 21? I told myself I wanted to be married and have my first kid by 25, I think that states pretty good where I feel. She brought up a terrible and saddening point though; parents seem to be more willing to accept that you are pregnant at a young age that having a relationship that you want to be the last one youll ever have.
