So, I saw X-Men: Days of Future Past. My opinion about Brian Singer’s other works still stands (X-Men 1 & 2 were alright at best, with 2 actually feeling like a more natural fit as an action movie than 1, and Superman Returns was lame), but THIS movie was actually really good. I enjoyed it greatly. And now to stir many political/moral waters: I did NOT go see this movie in support of Singer amidst all of these scandalous (and so far unproven, though that is certainly not in defense of either) accusations, but rather in support for Ellen Page for simply being brave enough to open herself up to possible Westboro Baptist Church riots, in support of Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen for just being really neat guys, and for Matthew Vaughn for simply writing good X-Men stories.
