So....I seem to remember when we were kids and during summer break, we would be outside all damn day . From 8 am til 8 - 9 at night or even later. And that entire time I never once remember anyone every come looking for us (Melissa and me) that is....we would literally be out for 12 to 14 hours and no one would check on us......lmao.... I would walk in the house my dad would ask " are you in for the night" I would say " Nope, just getting a flashlight".....there was no amber alerts..... Its wild how times have changed, when it was time for us to come in, my mom would whistle and when we heard that, we knew it was time to head home......funny, now that I think about it, I do the same for my kids when they were little. And now my son has whistle thing down pat.....wow, just wow.
