So, I spent hours cutting through thick tote plastic with a razor blade and small hedge clippers and cut two armfulls of 2 liter bottles down to size then added air and water flow holes all over them. I have my potting soil and fertilizer and lime to put inside. My homemade self watering container is almost ready to complete so that I can transfer the pepper plants into it....all I need now is the pvc for the water fill tube. Too friggin broke to go spend a few bucks to get it though. :(
