So, I sweat on home from an early morning hike and switch on the kitchen light. Nothing. Well, that’s weird because it worked okay when I got up about three this morning. It took about fifteen minutes to read the cruise small print on the apartment property card,, even though I was using a lighted magnifier. Blind sucks. I got through to the maintenance line and hear words that unless my maintenance problem is severe, like no heat, air or flooding, my request will be taken care of on the next business day. That makes sense. Well, good for me and I drag out and plug in a mechanic’s light that I eased out of some Georgia swap meet. This place is like most cheap-ass apartments in there are no kitchen windows and it’s dark in there. Just a life in the day of me.
