So I take Maddy a new sweatshirt to school. I leave it in office and tell the receptionist that Maddy doesnt know it is here. She tells me to just send her a text and tell her. I tell her Maddy doesnt have her phone this week (little grounding) and she looks at me like Im nuts!This is the second time this week. Monday I ran a paper up to her and asked for them to let Maddy know it was there. She goes, doesnt she have a phone you can text her and let her know? I said no she doesnt. She says well we dont normally call classrooms but I will do it this time. Ok so we go from middle school where they LOATHE the sight of a cell phone and make you pay to get it back if they are caught using it.....to it being a necessity to function in high school. Wow! Its a wonder so many of us graduated without one and a school was able to function without our parents having access to us during school hours. Rude.
