So, I think Im ready to announce the next MAJOR project Im involved with. After visiting Austria (with a quick visit to the UK to see some friends) Im heading back to South Africa. Myself and 4 friends are starting an organic restaurant and holistic healing retreat at an ex game farm right next to Kruger Park. Since its an ex game farm (meaning people used to come and hunt there, but not anymore!) youre literally inside the fence with wild animals. Even Leopards walk the same paths we do there. (Dont worry, people are completely safe. The animals choose to keep their distance. Well, except for the monkeys LOL) Were going to have volunteers come and help us with the center, as well as help us with other projects in the area. Assisting anti-poaching, working to stop invasive plant species, organic permaculture, building free-energy devices, helping local schools and their projects, etc, etc. The organic restaurant will be up and running within the next couple months, and the rest will hopefully follow soon after. We will have 3 areas for people to come and stay with us. An outdoor camping area with tents (for those that prefer to stay as close to nature as possible), a bunch of really lovely African-style huts, some of which have very beautiful outdoor showers, and a one-of-a-kind hotel, that our extremely talented friend has been building for many years now. Hes left all the trees intact, so you literally have huge trees in some of the rooms. We need helpers of pretty much every background and skill set, so if youre interested in visiting South Africa and want to give us a hand, get in contact with me. Theres still plenty of time to plan things since South Africa wont let me back in the country until January thanks to visa requirements. Ill post some pictures of the place ASAP.
