So I think my greatest passion, (besides my family) is writing and yet I dont do enough of that. I just finished a short story and my passion for it just soared to 1000% lol lol. I love to write, but unfortunately we allow life to interfere. Our responsibilities, our commitments always seem to get in the way. There is an element of insecurity to writing as well. A writer wants the reader to love their story as much as the writer does. Please dont misunderstand. This is not about ego at all. I think, from talking to other writers and reading their thoughts that because we become so involved in our story, because we know and understand our characters so well we want the reader to identify with them as well. I know my characters voice, I know every inch of their face, the way they move, the way they look. I can visualize the locations and literally put myself there. I think writers are insecure because they put their heart and souls into their words and they want others to feel what they feel. I am not a professional writer by any means, but my passion for it is very real. I am going to make an effort to write more. It makes me happy, it feeds my soul, my imagination and it brings me to a whole other level... these are just my thoughts and of course I have to write it all down lol lol ;)
