So I thought I would share: My doctor put me on a dose of iodine this past week and Im feeling drastically more alive. Dare I say I feel 100% awesome. I have Hashimotos disease so I was always afraid of iodine as it can rev up the immune system and trigger autoimmune attacks. But if you find a good - low dose it can seriously improve your thyroid function. Just a thought. In my mid 20s I didnt need it.. But now at almost 30 I felt a big shift. As we age our thyroids need different types of support.
