So I thought Id shift gears a bit.. Since a fit life is more than eating and working out. Between personal interest, home school and being keeper of the home, over the past years adopted, a cleaning and organizing checklist that really helps me keep things nice in a busy busy time of my life. So I thought over the next couple of weeks Id share it ;). We all know the holidays make this twice as hard.. So enjoy. My first is my kitchen checklist. Kitchen Daily cleaning • wipe down sink after dishes,stove and counters • sweep floor Daily organizing •put everything back in its place •wash dishes •reset breakfast table/area •take out what ever doesnt belong in the kitchen Weekly cleaning •mop floor •wipe cabinets,back splash and appliances •wash dish rack •wipe inside/outside of garbage Weekly organizing •grocery shop for main staples of meals •throw away excess plastic bags •refill napkins and kitchen towels •empty odds and ends basket •go through coupons and attach them to my planner by expiration date Bi weekly cleaning • wipe down light switch plates and base boards and scrub side of stove and inside refrigerator Bi weekly organizing •Go through cleaning supplies •put pots and pans back in order •clean and organize junk drawer Monthly cleaning •clean freezer •run through dish washer stove knobs, refrigerator drawers and dish rack ( this is new because I use to do it by hand but know we have a dish washer) Monthly organize • rotate food, use it up and check for what you need in freezer Seasonal cleaning •empty insides of utensil drawers •scrub cupboard exterior, stove hood and wipe down pantry Seasonal Organize Organize tools kept in kitchen, dishes,towels etc and get rid of anything you dont use Organize recipes and spices make sure they are up to day Sounds like a lot but its not and it makes my life so much easier.
