So I took five sticks of thin spaghetti, broke them in half until they could touch the bottom of my big lavender and cherry blossom-scented candle (shut up), stood them up in the candle just barely touching eachother, lit them and then held the candle upside down (with an oven mitt, because jesus christ spaghetti burns up like crazy) and poured the wax down my sink drain until it hardened at the S-bend and formed a candle inside of the drain. I let it sit and cool a little bit, topped off the drain with cold water and then filled the basin with scalding hot water and left it. As the temperature of the water evens out, itll melt away the top of the wax plug in the drain, breaking off little bits of scented candle as it goes thatll float up to the top of the sink and dissolve in the really hot water, whichll then scent my place. Since its not from a burning candle, theres no burning smell, no open flame and the scent doesnt go straight to the ceiling and stay there cause the steam from the water isnt as hot as smoke from a flame. Plus it lasts longer, and then once its melted all the way down it breaks the seal on the plug and the whole thing washes itself away
