So I turn on SportsCenter early Christmas morning and see that - TopicsExpress

So I turn on SportsCenter early Christmas morning and see that Derek Jeters walk-off is one of the sports highlights of the year. As these pictures clearly show, he didnt do anything I didnt, so how did I get left behind? With both of us wearing pinstripes, Jeters walk-off came in a meaningless game against Baltimore on September 25; mine in a pressure packed situation against the multi-year defending New York Yankees Fantasy Camp champion Bambinos on November 6. Jeters hit was his trademark inside-out, first pitch swing, poking a tweener between first and second. Mine was a bases loaded, 10-10 tie in the bottom of the ninth on a 2-1 pitch that I ripped over a drawn-in center fielder. Good thing too that he was drawn-in. Baseball trivia types will always remember that Antoan Richardson scored from second on Jeters hit. Michael E Labanowski becomes the Final Jeopardy answer from third on my hit. My team, the Bombers, was managed by Bucky Dent, the 1978 World Series MVP. Jeters team, the Yankees, was managed Joe Girardi, never a World Series MVP. Jeters was in front of 48,613 fans; mine had about a dozen on the metal bleachers (but at least double that amount will say they were there). Jeters was in his last career at-bat in Yankee Stadium; mine was my last at-bat for the week on Steinbrenner Annex #2. So Jeter gets props on ESPN this morning and I get coal. Am I missing something?
