So I ventured forth. I went to the bank, left the AC on, parked just far enough out of my sight line as to be nervous and pacing. Good thing the tellers all know me. I cashed my paycheck and did not deposit any which is not my usual habit. She asked if I was okay. Yes, but the dogs are in the car, and I noticed the blinkers on, and somebody might realize the keys in the ignition, and Im pacing as I say this and shes counting out the money. Oh, and she counts faster. Is that Malia and Liam. Yeah, AC on, right? Yeah, and she counts and gives me the money and I tear out of there. Then I practically run across the street and if you knew how bad my knee is, youd know my run is kind of peg leg looking at this point, so that must have been interesting. Gave the tourists something to see!! Then I went to the store for dog food. Local place. Everyone knows us. Brought the dogs in. Hey, hey. Got the food, paid and got out. Then because Im a total sucker we went to the river. Yup. I was in a lighter pair of pants. Still black pants. I dont really do summer clothes. But I took the black shirt off! And I was in a top that is more lingerie looking than I like, but hey, I was going for the cooling effect. So, we went down to the river. A few minutes later a woman arrived with daughters, nine and twelve. Oh, happy dogs. Can you say happy dogs? HAPPY DOGS! Then one of the girls said, Can we throw a stick for them? Can you, I thought. Have you been sent by Heaven? So, Yeah, they did that and the woman and I talked, and I stood under the sun and started to feel woozy and then I realized I was beginning to feel sort of like I did before even though I wasnt ready to fall down on the sand like I felt at Little Guys house, minus the sand. So, she must have noticed my alarm and I had to call the very sad besotted dogs who behaved wonderfully by the way the whole time and came right to my side EVEN then when they were so tempted and had new best friends. And I drank more water all the way home, and Im fine now, but man, I hate to think what is going to happen when I increase the med dose tomorrow. Yikes. I may faint at the mere thought of sun!
