So, I waited on an elder man and his grandson this afternoon. I joked around with them and even took a little extra step and made the little boy feel like he was important by bringing him his ice cream to his window first. They waited around for about 20 minutes, after I had taken out several orders after them. The man called me over and asked me about my schooling and what I was planning on doing with my future. I told him how I was in college for nursing and pre vet. He proceeded to tell me about how he appreciates people like me, who are always smiling and friendly, and helping people out. He then handed me a folded up check and told me to take that and help my future and not to count it as my tip money, as he had already tipped me earlier. I couldnt thank the guy enough for the $20 check he gave me. I love my job and my costumers so much.
