So I wake up this morning and begin my weekly duties; cleaning the apartment, laundry, etc. Im in my kitchen, doing dishes and what not, with music on. Im dancing and singing away while cleaning. Well, on top of our cabinets above the sink and counter, we have these old glass bottles with bunches of lavender in them for decoration. I notice one of the bottles has fallen over, Im far too short to reach it and stand it back up again, but began wondering how it fell in the first place. Anyway.......I notice something on one of the larger bunches of lavender. At first I thought something had grown on it. No Stephanie, put your glasses on and look again.... Its a bat! Because I find amusement in this, I have named him Barry. Barry is sound asleep on the lavender, paying no mind to my ruckus. As eery as it is, he looks peacefully adorable. Although, I think I will prefer his absence once our maintenance guy removes him. In the meantime, sleep tight Barry, youll need your rest for this battle. Ha!
