Its disheartening to hear this. Instead , You should be proud of who you are, you should show how capable we are.* Undeniably, this is true. I ve met someone who said *Oh, my burmese is not fluent at all because I moved to singapore when i was 13*. and introduced him/herself as *Singaporean* while she is indeed holding onto Burmese passport -.- I mean come on. There are chock-full of burmese people who grew up abroad, yet their burmese literacy is as fine as frogs hair. I dont understand why some burmese that are abroad think that it is cool to act this way. In fact, i think its a shame if you dont even know how to communicate in your mother language. ..
