So I was at TechCrunch and watched the presentation for this - TopicsExpress

So I was at TechCrunch and watched the presentation for this product. It was a good presentation. Really good. And I could feel the room pulsate with desire. Honestly, I thought, oh yeah. This is going to win. Why? Because most of the people in the room fit the demographic that would use this: wealthy guys who you know, would like a personal butler. Hell, I want that. Im not saying anythings wrong with wealthy guys. But its a little alarming when this kind of project is chosen over others that do things like, help diagnose medical problems (dynosense, diseasediagnostic/) help poor people improve their credit scores so they can buy cars and houses and stuff (https://selflender/) and others. What happened to altruism and tech? I know its still out there.
