So, I was cleaning and I found a bicycle lock that I bought awhile back. Combination lock. Labeled onguard Looks like a solid enough lock. Didnt have the combination. 4 digits. Thought I would go through all permutations to open it. Before I did that, I tried all the obvious combinations: 0000 1111 etc. 1234 0123 Wasnt one of those. But, while doing that, I was putting tension on the lock by pulling both sides. I noticed that rotating the dials was tighter at certain numbers. Starting from right to left I selected the tight numbers and the lock opened with the first combo I tried. The security on this lock is trivial to overcome. Dont use this brand of bicycle lock. Useless.
