So I was driving in the car today and the desire to pray for our friend Danny, the one I posted about yesterday who is having health problems, came over me in the moment. I became frustrated that I didnt know what to say. I could think about how good of a guy he is, and I thought about what a downturn in his health would do to his wife and little son (who is autistic and really looks up to his dad). I just couldnt find the words and I felt frustrated - I didnt know how to pray for my friend without being stale and repetitive. I finally just said to God I dont know what to say, but you know my thoughts and concerns and worries for him and his family and I cant put how I want to pray for them into words and left it at that, kind of hoping that He understood. Seconds later my ears focused in on the song that had just started on the radio - a song I hadnt heard in the better part of 10 years - Your Love, Oh, Lord by Third Day. The words fit. I was reminded once again that its not always about knowing eloquent words to say or making a speech to God, sometimes its simply about praising Him and admitting that we know its all in His hands and He will use all things for His glory. And trust Him - thats the biggest thing - trust Him in all things. Needless to say that song became my prayer and I sang along with as many of the words as I could remember and it was awesome! God is good, through ALL things and is forever worthy of our praise! Here, give it a listen: https://youtube/watch?v=QEF7IoQ3eUk
