So I was in Wal-mart getting groceries...when I approached the register I said Hello ! the cashier was looking straight at me and said nothing...so I was kind of miffed...then I said something else cant remember what...once again he said nothing...the miffed meter started to rise a little. I looked at Violet and said ...do you suppose he is a deaf mute...she said Mom your not in Mississippi anymore.....Then I was like no I can turn this around....so when he totaled my groceries I said Would you mind telling me my total please I cant read lol ...a very slight smile crossed his face..then I asked ...are you in a bad mood? He said no why? I said you just look angry I suppose being at work here could do that to a person...he said no I guess I just have my serious face on ...I said oh thats it then Im from Mississippi and we dont do serious in the grocery line in Mississippi ...that got a full laugh out of him...He then handed me my receipt and said you have a great night SWEETHEART lol.,,,, I looked at Violet when we were walking out and said how do you like that I went from cold shoulder to sweetheart in less then 5 minutes
