So I was just informed by my schools secretary that because I have no doctor to give me a note, I cannot miss more than two consecutive school days. meaning that after two days, parental consent is no longer enough. Can anyone tell me how this makes sense?? They are forcing me to lose days I was sick, because they never informed me, nor any of my family, of the doctors note rule. Which if you were wondering, means that truancy can be called for me being sick and not having a written doctors notice, even though there is no doctor that could give it. I was then told by this same secretary that because of no doctor stating that it is contagious, I would still have to go to school with a contagious illness. I now feel like browsing the student handbook I was never given.
