So, I was kinda looking forward to going to Fleetwood Mac in Dec as Christie McVie is touring with them. I looked at presale-tickets for AMEX members, and 2 seats (not even particularly good seats) would be over $400 dollars between the ticket price and the $50 convenience fee. As Lewis Crouch put it, at that price they can Go their Own Way This makes me batshit crazy. I saw U2 in like 82 or 83 at the Rainbow and I think tix were like $8-12. And U2 was young and incredible, not old and nostalgic...Ugh, remember when we could go see a concert, or ski, or eat out without having to get a 2nd Mortgage? See folks this is why I love Red Dirt Country. Gen and I went to Medicine Stone, in Tahlequah OK, last year and saw like 10 of the most incredible bands I have EVER seen over a three night period and the whole shebang was less than $350 for BOTH of us, lodging & parking included....
