So I was sitting here this morning mulling over a sermon by my pastor (Brad Reed), and something jumped into my spirit – The only thing stronger than the Blood [of Jesus] is unforgiveness Whoa...was my reaction! Stronger than the blood of Jesus!!!!!!! No way!!!! The blood covers all!!!! But then it hit me; what does the blood of Jesus do –if not to vouch for me before the Father. But how can the blood vouch for me if I wash it off? Thats what unforgiveness does –it washes off the all clear stamp. Stunned I sat there pondering this reality, questioning the validity of this revelation...so I sought the scriptures. And the dahm (blood) shall be for you, an ot (sign) upon the batim (houses) where you are; and when I see the dahm, oofasachti (then I will pass over, skip, spare) you [plural], and the negef (plague, blow, striking, i.e., death of firstborn) shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I strike fatally with a blow against Eretz Mitzrayim. (Land of Egypt) (Shemot 12:13) The words of Jesus... And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart. (Matthew 18:34-35) And again... For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. (Matthew 6:14-15) Now, whether or not you are a follower of Christ or not (and read this far), then understand that this still applies to you...if you dont let go of the grudges that you hold, this life has laws that will take effect; laws that end in the eating of your very life-force, until sadly, it claims your entire state of joy, and being as a whole (depression ending in suicide)...for hate truly is an all-consuming beast, unapologetic about who it crushes the host included. Forgive and be free...
