So, I was tagged by my sister in the book posts - 10 books that have influenced me/had an impact on my life in some way... Here is my list (in no particular order) 1.) Mere Christianity - C.S. Lewis 2.) Till we have Faces - again, C.S.Lewis (one of my favorite authors) completely different type of book from the first, but such a great one! 3.) The entire Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell - these books made me realize that not all fiction had to be written on a 3rd grade level. It opened up fiction to me again. A thanks to my friend Karl for suggesting these to me many many years ago. 4.) On the Anvil - Max Lucado Another nod to Karl for this one. It was a present for my 17th birthday and I have read it so many times the cover is falling off :) 5.) The Harry Potter series. Not so much the content of the books as their purpose in the time in my life in which I was reading them. I got to read them with Michael in the first years of our marriage. 6.) 1984 - George Orwell 7.) The Hiding Place - Corrie Ten Boom 8.) Who Moved My Cheese - Spencer Johnson A great book for anyone who has had to change their life in one way or another. 9.) Abraham Believed God - E.W. Bullinger 10.)
