So, I was talking to a beautiful friend of mine last night, and she reminded me of an old saying: Dont go borrowing trouble. I have a tendency to over think and over analyze. This habit can rob me of the joy of the moment at times. I create problems in my mind, and I quit before I ever start. Anyone else ever do this? Lol I believe in weighing things. I believe in testing the spirits. And I believe in thinking things through... especially when it comes to major decisions. It took me four years to buy new furniture. Lol no, Im not kidding. Anyway... Jill reminded me what her mama used to say: dont go borrowing trouble. And as I thought about it... my mind went back to Matthew 6. In the Bible, Jesus says not to worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own. I always took that to mean worry- as in about finances or health... but as Ive been pondering the conversation and my need to over think things, I realize that I have been worrying about things that havent happened yet... that if Im not careful, my over cautiousness could possibly rob me of something wonderful. #alwayslearning #thewordisalive #live
