So, I was watching football on TV and let the dogs play outside in their backyard. Suddenly Joy came running in. I braced myself for the expected body crushing leap onto my lap, but she stopped and just looked up at me. Doing her best Paw, Timmys fallen in the well bark and wine, she begged me to follow her. I got up to see what tragedy had occurred. I thought maybe the wind had blown the back door shut and she couldnt get back out, but no, it was wide opened. She lead me to the back porch where she had somehow managed to drag an eight foot tree branch up from the wooded area at the back of our yard. Apparently she couldnt fit it through the back door! I guess she wanted to add it to her in-house wood collection along with the chunk of tree stump she had brought in earlier. She has bones, antlers, nylabones and toys to chew on, but we are constantly picking up plants in the livingroom! Why cant she just chew on grass like a normal dog?
