So I watched Gotham.... (SPOILERS!!!!): ^ > > > The Good: Bullock: Making him so corrupt will make for an interesting storyline this season. Gordon: Not a whole lot to work with but Ben McKenzie did a good job with the material The mediocre: The Penguin. Geez they already made Waller skinny can we have one fat character? Anyway the scene at the end was laughable for all the wrong reasons. Bruce Wayne: Ugh that was some horrible acting after his parents died but he did seem to get better at the end. Montoya: Felt like she was really crammed in there but not much was done with her. Her character deserves more. Also seems like they really went out of their way to give her an antagonistic relationship with Gordon when they should be allies. The Lame: Catgirl: That actress (to me at least) looks like she is 8 years old and this really conflicts with the gritty tone of the show. And couldnt she at least have called the cops or tailed the shooter instead of sitting there doing nothing? Fish Mooney: She would have been great for Batman 66 but way too over the top in this. CGI. Is there any reason we need ANY cgi in this? Some of it looked really bad. Arrow seems to have done a better job and Im guessing they have a much lower budget. Overall: Hopefully they can choose between gritty or campy because this mix of both isnt really working but well see.
