So I went and saw the film Under the Skin today. Its an independent sci-fi movie starring Scarlett Johansson set in Scotland based on the book with the same name. While I appreciated that it didnt spoon feed you the information needed to get the movie (letting me figure it out on my own), that it had some genuinely creepy moments/visuals, and that Scarlett gets naked in it (she looks AMAZING naked, but in the context of the film it was rather un-arousing), I have to say the abysmal pacing just kills this film. Worth a look when it comes on video, but probably not really a theater film...
