So I went in a begging binge yesterday for the shelter dogs of Independence Great Plains SPCA. I begged CatsPride for litter (theyre sending coupons!). I begged Clorox for bleach (they said no). I begged Purell for hand sanitizer (they are sending 2 cases!). I begged Tide for HE laundry detergent (they said no). I begged Dawn for dish washing soap (they said no). I begged for peanut butter and paper towels and dog toys and so much more. I wrote email after email to the companies and manufacturers of those products. I also went to the Salvation Army Thrift Store and bought about 200 stuffed animals (none with beans as stuffing) for about $30. Last but not least, I ordered 225 close-out Halloween toys from Petedge (with an additional price break!). So now Im asking you to help the shelter dogs of Great Plains SPCA. Will you help fill the needs that these companies refused? Dawn dish soap, HE Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Peanut Butter, Blankets/Comforters/Throws (double size or smaller). You can drop off your donations at my shop in Olathe or any of the Great Plains facilities. Thanks! Volunteers make enrichment boxes for the dogs. What they need are boxes. Lots of boxes. Corrugated cardboard is fine, but cereal boxes or MacNCheese boxes or ANY boxes. Feel free to save your boxes for Indy dogs! You can drop them at my shop in Olathe or any Great Plains facility.
