So I went out into the great big world..couldnt go very far cause I wasnt able to use my pay card and needed gas..Im not gonna blame the card...it doesnt have a brain...apparently neither do I. (Just kidding! Paige, Dont yell at me! Hahah..I know Im brilliant!) Thing is I got so impatient to get out of here, and thinking I already knew where to use it, that I didnt bring any info, and wound up spending all my gas driving around. I would say todays job hunt was only a dry run. Ill do better tomorrow.. It wasnt as I imagined..I figured Id go from place to place, office to office and chat up people until someone decided to hire me. Not a good plan for starting out. I feel woefully unprepared to meet and greet... I also planned on trying manpower, I remember seeing it, I dont even know what they do exactly but was gonna give it a shot...well I couldnt find it...the good news? I know where it isnt! :D Pet Smart (on Roosevelt) is having a walk-in interview on Wed from 1-3....If Im not gainfully employed by then, I plan on being there. I called up Spartan Staffing and she was a big help about my card, really she was. I asked her to keep me in mind and gave her my new phone number.. Cant hurt. The Ex went back to work today. Yay for him! Im gonna try and earn my keep and get this house clean before he gets home and dinner too... Yes this is more like a diary entry but no apologies.... Facebook asked what was on my mind and I answered. :)
