So I went to Disneyland yesterday. bad time, but not quantifiable. first, my Access pick-up was 45 minutes late arriving, and 90 minutes late dropping me off. so i couldnt go to DCA at all. At City Hall, it took half an hour to go through the new disabled system. I got a card to carry about with me, to sign up, one at a time for ride access. I started with small world, with a 3:55 return time. I didnt reach the ride until 5:45. It took me so long to get to the north end of Main Street, I had barely enough time to get to Big Thunder Ranch to meet Farley the Fiddler. I had supper at the french market, and then went for my 2nd ride of the day, Haunted Mansion -- where I was turned away. The new policy wont let me ride back to the entrance to use the elevator, because Im not in a wheelchair. (I cant get through the turnstyle at the end without injury.) On the other hand, the Cast Members went *way* above and beyond the call of duty trying to help me, and I heard them working just as hard with others.
