So I went to church the other day at a friends request. The sermon was delivered by a retired military pilot. He told a story where faith was the hero, to show how sometimes we just have to have faith. Short version of the story. He was flying in the dark in the rain and all of a sudden his gps showed his destination was way behind him. If correct this meant he was now over the ocean and flying further out to see. So what does he do? Does he pray, because Jesus? No he calculates the distance it was possible for him to travel in the time airborne and concludes he still has like fifty miles until destination. Problems with story in comments.
