So I went to see Noah today. Brilliant, brilliant film. Special effects could have been better for an epic of this scale, but the acting and storytelling were all so above par to even calculate. Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connolly, even the constant genius Anthony Hopkins. And is it possible for Ray Winstone to disappoint me? The raw emotion and spectacle these actors achieved, a better cast could not have been assembled if they tried. And to find a better breakout role for Emma Watson wouldve been all but impossible. And for all those getting upset about the excessive creative license, shut up. The Wanderers, the creepy nightmares and the blood lust that Noah almost succumbed to were all absolutely necessary to keep the story relatable to a modern audience. Go see this movie.
