So... I went to the vet today since my girl Éowyns stomach has been bloated and firm for a few days. The vet said she had intestinal blockage and prescribed a diuretic for the next few days. He said if that doesnt work and she cant pass the blockage on her own, then she will probably die ;_; Shes not even one year old yet. Anyway, I took this video of her a few minutes ago. After shed waddled around the room for a while, she just plopped down under the table and stayed like this for a while. Eventually she got up and tottered about but shes really lethargic. ;_; Anyway, I decided to post the video in case maybe you guys have some advice for me to make her more comfortable? (Also, excuse my baby-voice in the video XP) She and my other girl Arwen are my first rats and Ive been such an overprotective mom, it just kills me that this happened. >< I lied down with her for a while and sang her some Hobbit songs (thats what my dad used to do when I was sick) and she seemed to be calm. But after I put her back in her house, Ive just been crying ;_; Please send good vibes our way!!
