So I wired a pickup to my acoustic and mounted it using ripped up RCA cables to tie it down and some tape... and made connection by taking speaker wire and running it to an open 1/8th cable, at the other end of the 1/8th cable is more speaker wire rigged to a 1/4th cable by wrapping it around the bottom and tip of the cable... which runs to a line in my sound card, which I then run through FL STUDIO and run Guitar Rig 5 to amplify the pickup... the only way I could ground the pick up and cut the noise is by applying a wire to my skin... after much fumbling I just wired the ground wire to the end of the 1/8th cable to my mouth... I later realized my power supply is not grounded in my computer and that odd hot copper taste and weird heart feeling was me being slowly electrocuted by my 500 power supply....... but it sure was metal as f***!
