So I woke up on my birthday with my same old left shoulder pain. It built and built throughout this week. Wednesday it was unbearable and I had to drive back to Seattle from my brothers- 7.5 hrs. Yesterday it was excruciating. Were talking- as bad as my broken arm a few years back and Ive been crying for my mommy. My entire arm is completely immobile. They drew a CBC yesterday looking for infection- osteomyelitis? Bursitis? But my WBC was normal. I started Vicodin which barely touches the pain and a steroid burst. And of course, Im missing work again. Anyone ever have bursitis or osteomyelitis? This came on way too fast to be characteristic of frozen shoulder. Other ideas?
