So I woke up this morning (HALLELUJAH!) and told myself that I wouldnt get angry this morning. Soon as I made that affirmation, the nonsense started. Everything & I mean everything that normally pisses me off about getting ready in the morning became apparent. By the time we were leaving I was yelling & Sarita was crying because I told her she was on punishment. I was mad at myself & even said to her youve help me allow the devil to use me this morning again! As we left I started our daily prayer. She cried, I ignored her (barely heard her really). We left the building, she was still crying & I praised The Lord as we walked. As we got to about the 3rd blocks I realized she wasnt crying anymore, I kept praising God & thanking him for being such a good, gracious, mighty, merciful, omnipresent, wonderful, etc. God & noticed she was smiling. She says Im sorry mom. I thanked her & kept praising Him. Started telling her reasons she should praise Him too. 5th block in, still giving Him the glory He so rightfully deserves. I hear her praying (☺️) and then she says mommy, you always make me feel better. I responded praise The Lord! That was his doing to help us both feel better! Kept praising Him til we reached her school bus stop. A few minutes later a Father who brings his daughter to bus stop gets there, were making small talk as usual. Out of nowhere, he asks me what is it that you do? I asked if he ever heard of Herbalife? His face lights up & he says yes!!! Yes I have! Im very familiar with Jim Rohn (Rohn mentored Mark R. Hughes (the founder of Herbalife International) and that had tried the products. He say he will contact me because he want to refer his clients to me. WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! Moral of this story: GOD WILL TURN YOUR TEST INTO A TESTIMONY!!! WHEN WE FALL VICTIM TO THE ENEMY, WE CAN REPENT & GOD WILL TURN THINGS AROUND AND BLESS YOU!!! Side note: I wasnt praying or praising about my situation. I just felt the spirit of The Lord so I gave Him all the glory & honor. I did pray for forgiveness of my sins (in general, so that he would hear me) & I prayed for the homeless & less fortunate.
