So, Ill go ahead and weigh in on this one. Friends, fellow Followers of Christ, lets all grow up. Isnt it time, in 2014, the 21st century, that we be mature enough to leave signs in the sky, natural disasters and other natural phenomena, as being omens of huge or catastrophic events behind? Seriously! Not that natural events dont sometimes cause disasters, they certainly do, but, please, lets stop blaming them on God. Most of the phenomena, like tomorrows blood moon, are mostly understood and explained by our amazing science community. This one has been coming for some time, and its coming known. God has done nothing outside of Gods usual natural course of creation here, so, God is not communicating anything other than, Behold, I am that I am; and, I am here; and, I am love. Sometimes the natural course of Gods creation brings awe-inspiring beauty and wonder; sometimes it brings great disaster from our limited perspective. Neither is a sign other than reminding us of the fragility and temporality, and/or the wonder and beauty of life in this dimension. So, Ill make this prediction: it will be beautiful and spectacular, and, if you let it, it will testify to wonder and mystery. Dont ruin it with ridiculous fears of Gods wrath, rather, receive it as yet another comic love note!
