So, Im at the CVS on Pasadena blvd and southmore and Im in line waiting to pay. The lady in front pulls out quarters and asks if she could give her 2 dollar bills. Lady had a thin shirt with pants, some shoes that probably couldnt warm a turkey and no socks. Just a coat. Her hair was a hot mess. She looked back twice at us. I dont know why, but God always speaks to me. I pay for my stuff, ask for cash back and on the way out I looked for her. Finally found her walking around, she wasnt begging or anything..and I gave her the 20 dollars I pulled out. Its not much. Hopefully, she can at least get a warm meal. I just wanted to cry but I held it in. My grandma always tells me, you never know when God is testing you. It just felt right. I would give my last dollar to help someone. I guess its just me but it kills my soul to see someone suffer. I know everyone is going to have their opinions but have them. I dont care. I always give to the homeless. One day I know I will open my shelter and ladies like her will not have to freeze their butts in the cold. Its only a matter of time. GOD KNOWS WHAT HES DOING.
