So Im driving home and I turn the corner at my street and I see a large bird sitting in a puddle by the curb. I realize its one of the young Peregrine Falcons Ive seen in the neighborhood. I get my phone into camera mode and lean out the window just as it takes off. In the first picture you can see it in flight at the top right of the image and you can see its large shadow on the driveway apron. The second shot is where it lit on a branch. Wish Id had one of my good cameras with me.
