So Im getting caught up on your shows and on episode 11 you talked about oiling the neck. On a maple neck you shouldnt really have to oil the fretboard due to the poly coating. The only fretboards Ive ever had to oil are the rosewood. Its a softer less dense wood and they usually dont get top coated. I use an oil designed for rosewood you can usually pick it up at your local hardwood shop. Or if you want to put a good top coat on it and not have to worry about oiling as much use Tru-oil.
