So, Im going through the list of people and activities in the SCA, and would like your feedback on the next group of signs. Im going by what I have seen others sign, lists of signs I have found in searches (i.e.: cs.brandeis.edu/~afeinman/sca/scasl.html), what Deaf people have told me, and the dictionary meaning of the word. When I make these videos, I am considering the beginning SitHs out there, not just the SitHs who have been around for a while. Particularly the new people in areas where they are in isolation. Beginners frequently want a sign for every word they might hear. While many of us know this does not happen when dealing with two languages, newbies are doing the best they can, and can become confused if we say dont sign that. So I hope to give them viable alternatives. What is part of my idiolect may not be part of someone elses and vice versa. These videos are hopefully giving people options. Along with that is FIGHTER and ARCHERY marshalls What do you all use?
